Who qualifies for membership in CYDC?
Membership in CYDC is open to advocates for youth, including:
- Juvenile Defense Counsel
- Public Defenders
- Alternate Defenders
- Panel Attorneys
- Private Counsel
- Social Workers
- Other Youth Advocates
Individuals who are in any way involved, directly or indirectly, in any law enforcement or prosecution activity, or who are judicial officers, or court staff members are not eligible for CYDC membership.

Your support ensures that we can connect California’s Youth Defense advocates to preserve an open and accessible marketplace of ideas and resources.
